About Us

Chef/owners Kirstin Griffin and Donalee Goodbrod bring years of culinary experience to Café Café. The restaurant’s concept, menus, atmosphere and philosophy are a true collaboration of the chef/owners and a reflection of their consistent involvement in the daily operations of the restaurant. They are committed to offering guests moderately priced, fresh, seasonal, innovative and traditional home-style cooking in a casual fine dining—yet family friendly—atmosphere.

Chef Kirstin received formal training at the Culinary Institute of Austin. She was co-founder and former co-owner of Tulips Restaurant, which received many high accolades during Chef Kirstin’s co-ownership, including mention in Bon Appetit magazine. She also served as former executive chef at the celebrated venues of Geronimo and The Galisteo Inn.

Chef Donalee created, opened and operated Santa Fe’s most notable and longest running nightclubs. Chef Donalee formerly owned and operated Drama Club in downtown Santa Fe, prior to opening the landmark Paramount Nightclub. The legendary Paramount Nightclub not only served as Santa Fe’s premier entertainment venue for world-class music, but it also housed Paramount Pizza- the city’s best pizzeria where Chef Donalee created the recipes for Santa Fe’s favorite pizzas.
